We are just getting started with raising chickens and I just love the silkies! Do you allow local pick ups? We are just below you in Jackson County.

That's fine. I'm thinking of getting silkies as very young chicks (like a week or less old) to match the eggs we will be hatching. Can you tell the gender that young with silkies?

Or do you just sell the eggs?

One more question, I was looking over your pictures and noticed a lot of your birds have the black featherless necks. Is that they way they are as adults or has that just not filled in yet?
