I'm going to have to start pulling out some more plastic bins. I have three that are less than half the size of this one, but there are too many birds in this one.
Mine started eating each others feathers when they were that size. Then when I putt them out with the older ones they all ganged up on lemon drop...who has never rec. I have her in the house until they grow back. Too cold in the winter here to be running around bald down the back.

They just grow so fast & I never had more than 20 in each tote until the three AUCTION egg sets were hatched. Mine are doing really good out in my quail house in their 2'x4' pens. Good thing I had 2 of those pens available & ready. I'm really wanting a :loveSSC batch hatch, but I was hoping to be able to set my own eggs soon. Not all of mine are fertile yet.:idunno
I think all three of my yellow shrimpies are albino. I included a normal chick in the second picture to show how small the three are. I'm pretty sure one is a boy since he keeps standing up and screaming.View attachment 1975463 View attachment 1975464
I need to get new pictures of my white one with the red stripe on her head. Curious on how that one will turn out.:pop

When one on mine started eating everyone's feathers..... I ate him:drool!
It's obvious who the guilty one is, the one with beautiful feathers, right?!:gig

They were like a week old too tiny to eat. But yeah the annoying males are going to be chopped and eaten lol.

Today's chick pics. I've begun to separate them out a bit. I've got the ones that I plan to cull for certain in the smaller tank. I'm going to separate the others by colour, I think. I still have too many in the main bin.

:barnieIt's hard for me to decide who to move to a "Freezer Camp" group pen.
:oldI know I need to start deciding, but I obviously had an unrealistic expectation of being able to sell some of the hatchlings.
:heHow stupid of me is that?:th
