Nabiki's SSC hatch

I just found out from the roommate that at 1AM there were no chicks in the incubator. When I came out at 5AM, there were 25. It was a busy few hours there. There are 7 eggs left in the incubator, two have very visible pips.

Chick #41 - Don't tell @Kiki but I assisted it out of the egg. It was trying so hard but it was zipping at the wrong end of the egg.

It's hard to watch them struggle.
He looks to be in good shape so you did good by helping him.

i knew that there was a chance that I would end up culling it, but I figured some chance was better than none.

What's your humidity been like for this batch?

I have a crazy cat. He eats chinchilla food, and he was showing far more interest in what I was feeding the chicks than the chicks themselves.
This picture is from one day when he climbed inside the chinchilla cage, but it wasn't for the chinchilla.

What's your humidity been like for this batch?

I managed to keep it right around 30 the entire time.

7 eggs left in the incubator. The rush seems to have ended, so we'll see if these last 7 hatch or not.
