I have 2 chickens with naked backsides, a few with spots on their combs that do not rub off. Is this molting? Feather picking? Mites? They are about 9 months old. I looked through the feathers of the 2 pictured below and I don't see mites but I may be overlooking them. I have 8 hens & no roosters. Thank you in advance for your help.

Some one is feather pecking/plucking. Probably the most pristine perfect feathered bird in the flock. The comb spots are a result of minor squabbles.

How do I stop it?

They actually have the pox, I guess the feather loss was a stress response. The lighter spots showed up the next day & then the dark spots the day after.
