Meet Turken!! So far I have assumed that Turken was a hen but I am unsure now based on some pictures I have seen. Any thoughts??

How old is it? I have 2 Turken pullets that are about 2 months old now and they don't have as much comb as yours does.

As an update to this post: My Turken turned out to be a rooster and started crowing around 2 weeks ago! :)

Btw, what a simply beautiful naked neck. I have one and she's not nearly as pretty.

Pretty bird, not too often one sees a turken in that color pattern.

In the first pic, the area of white coming in on his wings was the start of adult rooster pattern. Often an useful clue in sexing.

Beautiful markings but, looked like a rooster from the first picture - big comb & wattles
