I have a 12 week old naked neck chicken and what I believe to be a white crested Polish chicken and as a first time chicken raiser I have no idea if they are male or female. I've tried to do research online but it seems to be very conflicting information. We inherited these from my son's 2nd grade hatching project. Any help greatly appreciated!

I would still have to say female for 12 weeks old, based on comb and waddle development.

I would keep an eye out... I feel like I'm seeing more scales lifted than I should for the age and so would be watching for scaly leg mite.

Sometimes it makes me crazy that people don't keep their colors pure for breeding.. But that's a pretty cool pattern on her bow tie. :pop

Thanks so much for the heads up!
