Do you like them?  No one in my area has them and I have had several requests for them

I think they are pretty and cute not really ol enough to know how they act or the size they will be.

Is it hard to ship chicks ?

Not that hard but if you want to ship chicks across lower 48 you need to become NPIP. Some states including my state they break your chops if they don't like something they see.

She looks a lot like my little girl. We are adding new shavings to the nesting boxes today. I am sure they will be playing as well in it.

Oh I so know how that is. My Turken has been breeding with my Legacy rooster, and with my Delaware rooster. She can't get to my Delaware now, so now, she sits all google eyed looking at my little game bird rooster.

Oh I saw a pick of the Legacy! It would be interesting to have one, only thing is, we already have 2 roos, and I don't have more than maybe 3/4 acre in a residential area, but because we live right behind the zoo, I don't think anyone could complain! LOL those monkeys are so noisy and the pigs in the morning squealing, I don't think something as typical as a rooster is going to cause much ruckus.

Here's my latest pullet. Hatched on New Years Day.



I thinking that this is birchen color. Her comb looks like it is pushed down on her head, not quite but almost V.

Don't have a picture of mom. She is a little larger than a bantam ( not quite leghorn size), birchen colored crossbred hen. I'm suspecting cross of large fowl and a bantam (OEG), she is definitely part game.

My latest hatching eggs went into lock down this morning due to hatch on Mond


Of the 14 in the first batch 3 are pullets, 2 more I'm hoping against hope (1 of those is futile hope the other a possibility) Really hoping for more girls in this new batch.
