Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Thanks, what view do you need that might help? I got individual shots as well but I can do close ups later today if you can tell me what is needed. They are speciality birds here for now so if I can breed nice babies I can have a small business here. Will see what I can do once I have a house.
I remember when I went to Greece they have flea markets with vegetables, fruit, clothing, shoes, and much more, and people would sell live chickens, chicks in cages. They do that in Libya?

They do that in California also but the birds that I saw were molting. Actually I've seen several types of birds at California flea markets including wild ducks but I guess the person who had them stole the eggs from a local area and hatched them at home. It would be tricky to round up a bunch of wild ducks.

Rudy is now 5 days old and is progressing by leaps and bounds. He is accepted by his hatch mates now, actively eating on his own, walking much better, balance is still a bid of an issue but w/ him running around w/ the others now that should get better in just a few days. When I get home I will check the hernia bandage to see if it can be removed.

Virtually every country in the world has it's form of street markets...Surprisingly (or not), the basic format is very similar.

Yes its pretty similar to flea markets in the usa but not as organized or clean. Prior to the war it had stalls and unit buildings. They were bombed heavily sadly. Now its just a large field and the bird section is among the ruins of the unit buildings. Flooding makes it unusable. I got a photo I can post. Earlier in the week they had chickens packed into plastic crates selling for a dinar each or about .75 cents us currency value. The man I bought from had maybe 20 or more in each box of cardboard. No water, many were dehydrated by the time I was there at 11am. Its already into the 80s here. I go early buy fruits and veggies then check birds. Once its hotter higher risk of losing animals. I feed, water and get into clean housing soon as im home. Will post a bit later my tablet is being picky.

He will make some nice Naked Necks for you most likely with rose combs.
I have a red laced blue NN hen from NAVA, a Blue laced Wyandotte mix. She is the best layer that I have and I like rose combs so that is no problem. A plug for NAVA but then her birds are wonderful even if she is not interested in the funky melanotic types that some of us are fond of breeding !
