My NN is broody and due next week! I cant wait to see the chicks and I hope she gets some girl NN chicks!

Ok so i have my 3 nn my 2 black Roos and my buff hen so my one roo has no feathers on neck and my hen and my other roo have bow ties do i have a chance at scaleless featherless plus my blacks have golden locks and lace in some feathers is this norm I'll have pics tomorrow

Most likely not. Na and Sc are not connected. The only way to get a naked (featherless or scaleless) chicken is if you have a line (of any breed not just nn) that carries the rescessive Sc gene.

He looks fairly large...what would you say he weighs; how tall do you guess he might be?

I forgot to make clear that I like the short heavy beaks, especially on a cock bird....speaking of which, I like this young fella too.



My plan is to move my birds to pea combs or something near it for several reasons, not the least is the factor pea comb, etc, is in direct correlation with those that produce birds with fewer feathers or so I'm told.
