Just thought I'd post a couple quick pictures of my flock. Have about 150 birds in blue, splash , black, barred, buff, speckled, mottled and white . All standard size with single straight combs and correct legg color . Also showgirls in white, black, splash and paints.

I want some showgirls!!!

lol I've been trying to find some eggs somewhat locally, but apparently there isn't a big showgirl pop up here. I found a couple that have started but not sure if they will have any eggs by mid march (I want to do an Easter hatch) one girl that said she'd have eggs and I had asked her to send me pics of the birds and she sent pics, and the couple that I could see the showgirls in (her whole flock is together) the showgirls were nice looking, but when I asked if she seperated the showgirls/silkies out for breeding she said no. So if I buy the eggs, I still have a chance of not getting any showgirls. I'm still determined to find some.

Speckled naked necks

I had some Speckled NN's once (actually my brother did, had a chance to get them but passed them up). Wished now I had have gotten them.

Did you breed your mottled ones? If not where did you get them from?

My eggs are hatching!!!! My husband awakened me at 3 A.M. to say, "Two have already hatched!" The rest of the eggs are being slooooowly pecked open.

All tuckered out and trying to dry off.

The very first hatchling. I named it Pippen. There's not much of a naked neck on this one.

And hatchling #2. No name yet, but the naked neck is very obvious.

Great to see you're still around and breeding very nice NN! Correct me if I'm wrong but you do sell hatching eggs, right? Just trying to help you spread good NN around.
