Gorgeous. I think that he'd work great for my Burchen project. I'd have to ask @Kev to make sure that is what he is.

I have a NN hen that is a cross between a red NN and a black copper Marans. I'll post som pictures later when I'm home.

please post the pic of both parents and their offspring. I have been collecting eggs from my NN pullets/bcm. I am not sure if they are red or black tailed buff, or whatever. they were white/yellow when they hatched. one has somewhat orange feathers and the other one is a bit darker, maybe even wheaten. I am really colour blind when it is about chickens.

It might be fun, chasing chickens out of rabbit warrens, (perhaps use a very small terrier) but It will be a cold day in hell when I slither up-under a chicken hutch to pick up muddy eggs and hens. The day before that, a band of merry men will be out there, insulating the bottom and underpinning that chicken residence so tightly, a flea couldn't squeeze it's puny head between the walls and dirt....then lined with rocks covered with Sakrete.

I know what's coming next...plant trees, lots of trees...the fast growing kind and in the meantime, a few movable stout lean'tos will suffice.

They don't stay under there or live under there, they just spend the heat of the summer days under ground w/ the rabbits.
