I got 8 of these guys 4 with rose comb and out of those 1 has really good yellow legs
the other ones have strait combs grey legs.
well i'm taking that one with yellow legs a crossing him back to my BLRW and hopefully this time I get what I'm aiming for

but for now here are some updated pics of some of my splashes with a white orp and a dotte cockerel * soup pot *

PRETTY PRETTY Nava are you planning on breeding for rose or straight combs. I would guess Rose because you used a BLRW ? Has anyone used a BW ameraucana ? I guess I should ask Dippsy or Kev also !

My NN pullet started laying & it lays a green egg!

She is the first NN that I have bred that has laid an egg, and I was going for the colored eggs, so it seems to be working.

Here are a few pics from yesterday...

I don't know what to call this blue green-egger girls comb, it's flat and black:

Thanks! He'll be going in with a nice chunky Barred Rock hen and the single comb girls will be going in with a Rock rooster --- in hopes of getting the next generation closer to the SOP for Naked Necks.
(I like my 'odd birds' better, but don't tell)

Love the splash roo, Nava, and the Blue roo, Dipsy Doodle Doo (the frizzles are hilarious).

I have to admit to a liking for the 'odd bods' myself, but they are never going to be considered as breed standard.
