The 2nd one from the right is Agatha’s “pink” egg.
The 3rd one from the right is Emily’s egg which is Cleo’s mother.

my NN girls lay eggs like agatha's. if cleo inherited a blue egg gene she should lay gray eggs (pink+blue=gray). emily's egg is really pink.

My lays realy light, almost white eggs and they are quite big. I did not expect her to be that good of a layer, but here she is, giving us egg a day in the middle of winter. But again, she is 8-9 months old. My other hen that is 8 years old also lays now but not as much and this is really a weird thing. They were never laying at this part of a year. But I'm not complaining

I am going to get some clear necked chicks. they will come from XXXXXXXL eggs. a friend of mine has them, black and white. as my new place will be in a country (probably with hawks, etc) I will probably take black only. the white ones would be like invitation for lunch.

unfortunately I do not have space to hatch where I am now. my friend will hatch them and when I move I will take some chicks.

this morning I found my favourite naked neck girl hanging upside down in the coop. she is still alive but in very bad condition. her crop is full but she hasn't pooped for at least 6 hours. I gave her water with sugar and hot pepper, a shot of lincospectin and aspirin for pain. is there anything else I can do? she is in my bedroom now.

I don't have any idea what could be wrong with her but I would ask people on emergencies/diseases part of forum, someone will probably know what's going on with her. Hope she makes it.

thanks. she got stuck (I don't know how she managed to do it). luckily I went to open coops a bit earlier than usual. she is in state of shock and I hope she didn't break any bones. I know when in state of shock bird's body stops functioning. she was freezing cold for about 7 hours although she has been in my bedroom since I found her. she is somewhat warmer now. I hope she will make it.
