Naked Neck/Turken Thread

So question? Do the necked neck roosters necks usually get more red than the pullets?
I have 3 chicks that are a month old and ones head and neck is starting to turn really red. The comb isn’t big and I don’t see much in the way of wattles but was just wondering. I actually really want this one to be a rooster but just a little impatient I guess?

The red neck is like a sun tan for us. Has nothing to do with sex.

gorgeous!!! What color is the momma? Is she a necked neck too?
I think these were out of a black australorp hen. I think daddy is a really a splash. We put him over the black hens to test my theory.... 3 blue nn babies I think he is a keeper. I also love the way his breast muscles feel. He would make a fine table bird if I could bring myself to butcher him. But he makes a better breeder to make more blue nn..... I love the blue color and on a Nn? Wow
