Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I wonder if you bred an NN (not an Na) to a muffed breed if you could get a muffed naked neck. I might try that with my bantams if it all works out

*****Edited to put my text above my photos.
Expression of the gene for muffs and beard appears to get reduced by expression of the naked neck gene. Whiskers was the result (EE x NN) She has a floppy comb not a straight comb and she lays large green pullet eggs.

Thank you @BlueBaby I hate that I can't buy all the chicks at TSC, bring them home, and wipe their butts myself. The other 7 look good. One of the CLB is a little tiny but that's why I brought her home.
I'm going to sell some of my 1year old girls so I can make room and because they are obnoxious. Lol. My olive eggers and dark brahmas are a little mean.

That's ok if you will become a Naked Neck guru one day! ;) We really don't mind, do we?

When looking over the eggs I collect every day, I’ve observed that the individual chickens who lay the largest and most eggs (Naked Neck x Australorp x Olive Egger) are also the most aggressive at scratching up the soil and pecking others at the feed bowl.

Good to know. I probably won't sell those girls. I'm such a sucker that I hate to let any go to anyone I don't personally know. I still have room in the coop for a few more. Of course broody season is coming...

But we aren't using this RV anymore. Lol. Bet it would be a pain to predator proof. Maybe the carport...or my husbands shop. Lol
