Naked Neck/Turken Thread

These babies are coming along fine. All five are feathering out well. I can't wait to see the adult feathers. One is obviously barred or cuckoo, one is a blueish black but still has a buff underbelly. The other 3 are various shades of buff (one has a reddish cast) with those pretty, flowery patterned wings. I'm hoping they keep some of those colors.

Idk what to think of my cream legbars. One is comparatively small but feisty, the other is bigger that all the chicks. All came in at the same time per TSC so are the same age.

Cute! 🤗
I have a male with the white tipped feathers. I really hope the adult feathers are the same.

I need to get a new picture of him.

I just candled my 12 NN egg's that I have in my incubator. Of those 12, 11 of them are looking good and I am seeing the spider vein's and movement in them. The 12th one I'm going to check it again in a couple more day's, and hoping that I won't have to toss it.

a friend of mine had legbar hens of all sizes, lol. I guess that is a hatchery quality.

@janiedoe My NN rooster Louie has started breeding the Silver Grey Dorking pullet's that recently started laying egg's. His mother was a Red Ranger/Silver Grey Dorking mix.
Which one is Louie? Pic please 🥰
I'm not NPIP certified, and with the way that the post office is delivering packages late, I don't think it's a good idea to.
“not NPIP certified” ... yet

Where can I read a thread on BYC about someone’s recent experience getting NPIP certified?
