Those are some beautiful babies! I should've ordered more splash...I was trying to demonstrate sensibility and self control.

@ homeschoolchick, is that a frizzle? I had a bird whose wings started to come in bent like that but she's not a frizzle. They eventually straightened out. I ask because I see in your siggy you have frizzles.

I don't know if this is a frizzle yet or not, but there is a chance. Do you think the chick is a splash?

This is just my opinion, but judgeing by the way the feathers are curling already it looks like a frizzle from the picture.
I'm also gonna say its a Splash.

at first i thought they were the most god awful ugly birds. now that my 6 y/o daughter thinks theyre the cutest thing ever, theyre growing on me like a tumor.

Well, the feathers lay flat when it is not flying up like that. I was thinking maybe a splash...thank you

I'll post more pictures after the feathers grow out more!

What does anybody think of this little guy for breeding from? I really like his feathers, but don't know his parentage. Oh, and he has a weird comb and an extra toe on one foot....

And grey legs, and is a little squirt, and is very noisy.....but has lovely feathers.

Ooo! He's pretty!

It looks like he has a Rose Comb.

Oh, he is pretty! He looks to be splash. With the extra toe, and funny comb (I'd guess), he might have Silkie in his ancestry. And you say he's small?
If he is splash and you beed him to your black girls, you'll get blues.

Yes, he's very small, but that doesn't stop him treading the big Brahma girls very enthusiastically. The comb has one spike at the back which bends over towards the right.....so lopsided and uneven as can be seen in the second picture.

I already have some 'blue' girls (black NN X Blue Partridge Brahma)....same parents as Gordon. There would probably be blue, black and splash if I bred him with them.....I think!
