Oh, alright! Color of eggs wasn't important, just curious

So, the bantam girl NNs are from what background? They aren't EE x NN? Again, just wondering.

I am curious because my NN is a mystery to me. I don't know what is in his background. He has a single comb, but his legs are almost white/pink. I thought he was self blue but he is getting what looks like buff colored feathers coming in almost parallel to each other , maybe hackle feathers? What ever mix is in the NNs are fine, I would just like to have single comb because I have that here now, along with walnut from the potential showgirls I have in the incubator and one mix I've hatched out. I just didn't want to throw a third comb type into the mix.

The picture of your mystery chick is cute! What is a sport? Is that the color?

It's a fibromelanotic NN chick that is WAY off-color. I've never hatched one with so much color.
Big chick and clean-legged, so not from bantam Cochin mom like I thought when I first saw it in the hatcher. Looking at it's comb, I'd guess it is a sport from one of the blue/black, blue/splash NN green-egger pens.

Does anyone have the Urch naked necks, I believe he raises the reds. I would love to see some pics. Anyone ever show them????? Who has good SQ birds??????????

Not too many folks on this thread have shown NN. I remember that Nava did a while back and her Anconas won ribbons but not the NNs although she has some of the best on this thread

I don't have any from his line.

I have shown mine but they are the only NN'S at the show so I don't think that that counts.

but I am trying to breed some really good SQ birds, might not be there yet ( Today ) but I'm closer than I was yesterday.
