I got some pics, of my project " Blue NN " out of 36 eggs 26 went into lock down, and out of those 26, 20 were born, and out of those 20, 15 were NN's and the other 5 were full feather. I gave 12 to my Royal Palm hen, and 8 went to My splash Orp, thay both had been sitting on golf balls waiting for this day, so here they are at 5 days old. I'll take pics of the Orp later on enjoy!!!!!!!!

The one you're holding is pure for the NN gene.. (black one standing tall in second pic is not pure NN) Just in case there was interest in making birds pure breeding for NN..

It's very easy.. all you need is one male and one female like that..... bingo, pure breeding.

Pure NN rooster even with not pure NN hens, ALL chicks will be NN, half of the chicks will be pure, half not. Will work the other way around if your luck comes out to a couple pure hens but no pure rooster. Anyways, from either it will be much easier to get larger number of pure chicks, all you need to do is keep those...
