I will add # 6....at least in my case, they are 'extreme foragers'... If they can get to a patch of dirt or grass and it's not blowing at gail force, the cold weather does not bother them. On the other hand (except for some cocks)...they can deal with confinement very well.
That's a nice plus I hadn't thought of!
 
Pulled 1 more Naked Neck baby from the hatcher. There are still a few more eggs too hatch that I'm leaving in there until tomorrow to be sure, but don't really think anymore are going to hatch.

Don't know how many NN's I have left from this hatch though, because I only have 10 chicks left from this hatch of 46 chicks left. Someone came and bought the rest.

REALLY handsome boys!!
Took a few pics of my boys today Excuse the coop on this one. It's been too cold to get out and spray the walls down. Frizzle green egger hatched from Dipsy's eggs! Hope to have many babies from him this Spring! This one is like a big puppy. He's very curious and is always at my feet. I had this one pegged for a pullet for quite sometime. VERY late bloomer.
