Naked Neck/Turken Thread

he was my favorite nn. he was so nice and at the bottom of the pecking order. i was hoping to use him to breed with because he had a nice temperment and he was pretty. i didnt want to burry him or put him in the trash so i gave him to a neighbor to eat. i thought it would be wasteful to leave a perfectly good chicken just sitting there.

UPDATE on Update

out of 6 viable eggs, One just stopped developing on Day 18 or so : TWO hatched day 21 and day 22

One Piped and started working way out on Then on Day 22 stopped and must have Became shrink wrapped as I noticed when I assisted.

Two remain now as I did Float test this Am, now believe they are Fetal Demise as Tomorrow is Day 25 .
I will end Roo Fertile incubator Test. and Enjoy time with the TWO Chicks.

On a HAPPY note Guess what I found in Nest Box this Am. . . . our Rescued EE ( with 4 NN Chicks ) laid an Lovely Green/Blue Egg HUGE. when compared to others.

Out of 4 NN chicks rescued, 2 Pullets remain and I put them in LF coop, seemed like the best time since I had just added wood chips called " hog filler " hope it will distract hens tomorrow.

1 died after about a week, Unknown cause. was sickly from start.

1 Only Cockerel Died a few days ago, Unknown cause. was fine then Not, suspect injury.

How is the chemical in the water going out?

There's a usual drunk at my pizza restaurant, a 63 year old who went to Woodstock in Cali back in 1969 and he talks about all the drugs and stuff that happened then. But the funniest thing he told me was when he drinks hard liquor it like "filling up my tank with gas, it gives me energy" lol.... Will drinking that water in WV fill your tank and give you energy?

They are so cute.. I love my frizzle and would love to have a frizzle NN.

Thank you for the inquiry. As I posted on another thread, I live roughly 150 miles north of that terrible situation and have an artesian well that supplies water for all the farm buildings. But your concern is appreciated.

How does the water affect the taste of food in your establishment, considering the nasty water main/sewer line eruption on Foxon Rd a couple weeks ago? I see why you don't eat the food..

By the way...I didn't know 'Woodstock' occured in Cali. If you aged friend told you he was there...it's not likely the truth.
