Are you looking for bantam NN or Large fowl? Looking for eggs or chicks? This time seems to be dead for either eggs/chicks.

Eggs should making a comeback around February but since winter is harsh (for most of the in the US) wait till March.

question how long are eggs still fertile when they're taken away from a rooster. the two nns i got were in with two roosters. a barred rock and another red and green rooster. there red with black tips on their tail feathers and I have a austrolop roo. is the nn gene dominant. never hatched any eggs a but I have a girl that's acting broody

Hope they still are laying since the move.Is the nn and barred gene dominate? How long can you store eggs before trying to hatch?

This is just from everything I have read but, the NN gene is dominant and after 10 days viability drops but you need to turn the eggs like in the bator while you wait. Big end up.

The Na gene is very straight forward if you see it they have it if you don't see it they don't have it. If they have a big bow tie they only have one copy (Nana) if they have a small bow tie or none then they have two copies (NaNa) ( a feather necked bird cannot "carry" a hidden gene and pass nn to any offspring)

How are these for Naked necks?

Not my picture, its from Ultimatefowl.com
These are Madagascar game fowl.
A little Jurassic Park in your back yard?

A friend has a bunch of Shamo type chickens in her yard and they are awesome. I was surprised how friendly they are and they get along with the other chickens and ducks. They free range on 3 acres.
