What color was the father and mother? I have one that is similar to yours, but she is only about 8 weeks old. Her dad was a Salmon colored Naked Neck ans her mother was a buffish colored Salmon EE/NN.

Not sure on her parents as she came from mail ordered eggs. I was told by some one that she is a wheaten.

Haaa...Might as well be in Africa as NYC! He was in Brazil but no where is really safe anymore. Thanks for the concern.

Lets just hope he has a safe trip. I told a friend a few days ago they couldn't pay me enough to fly. They have had so many crashes and airplane issues lately. I read about one in India having to make an emergency landing because the plane was over run with rats.

Ok

Okay. That was what I was told that mine was, but that they also carry Duckwing. This from a guy that has been breeding for years. I can't see the Duckwing myself guess I just need to train my eye.

Anyone know what would happen if I try to smuggle fertile eggs from Greece to the U.S. by plane? Instant arrest? People carry pure Transylvania Naked Necks in Greece.

they may let you bring them. Ask for them to manually inspect them instead of xray (radiation). I know of several persons who hand carry them onto planes going overseas from the US, so I would be inclined to try. Another idea would be to put them into a package of some sort, to cause less scrutiny.

If caught I think you could get in to very serious trouble with a huge fine or worse.

Bringing eggs in legally can cost $1,000s - literally. esp when you add up all the vet fees and certificates. I don't think you can even hatch them yourself - that is done at a designated site and they are grown out for a month to make sure the chicks have no disease. If you are caught doing it illegally the penalty will be worse.

Asking for them to be manually inspected is asking for trouble.

@ Vamvakas. The word "smuggle" should make you think long and hard before considering anything like trying to get eggs to the USA from anywhere else. Even if one of your eyes twitches, they'd be all over you and no chicken is worth the problems you'd be under.

Very pretty pullet, sasimpson77.
Just wanted let everyone know all my hens have stopped laying for one reason or another except my faithful NN, Zinna. She has laid for 3 years through heat, cold, and moult, without totally stopping, ever. Now that's testament to how good these NN can be.

Well, it was chance asking, I am going to back to Greece to bring back a girl cause American girls are strange and only care about money plus most American girls can't cook... I'm only 23 not talking about the old school Americans but young school sucks.. Wanted to kill 2 birds with 1 stone while in Greece that's why I asked.
