Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Want to see a beautiful rosé combed Naked Neck rooster.

Well I'm going to show you one anyway:
400

I know he has to be by my former Salmon Naked Neck. He was from the January 1, 2013 hatch I done. I sold him and have just gotten the pictures back of him. I can guess which hen he was out if also because I only had one hen that had a rose comb.

So as he is this beautiful, I'm going to get a couple dozen eggs for hatching from his current owner.

I agree! He's beautiful! And judging by that posture, he knows it too.

Nope, gave her to my grandson and something got her. I think they may have a daughter that is half Marans.

Just talked with a neighbor that orginally bought the rooster and she said that she could get me some eggs when I want them. So it will be a go on a September hatch.

I've sold/given away birds that I regretted. I survived and did just what you will do...pick up what you have and move forward...Good luck!!!

Thanks. I don't usually see too many that I've bred so I don't have too many regrets, but when I see one that I wished I had kept I just tell myself you can't keep them all but wished I could. So I just move in. In this case I'll get done of that bloodline back.

Well by this afternoon I should have a few fluffy butts running around in the 'bator. They are beginning to hatch.

Hard to resist opening it and see what's going on. I'm leaving here in a bit so that will help resist.
