Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Kev I found a lady local who is willing to incubate for me.so I'm taking her eggs th is weekend to start hoping to find out for sure what the problem is.

I offered to pay to have her incubate them do y'all know what a fair amount to pay her would be?

$1 to $2 per egg is what I've seen advertised. That seems reasonable to me.

So one of my NN pullets decided to be broody. Poor thing. No matter how hard she tries, I just don't think she'll manage to hatch that golf ball that I put in the nesting box to train them.

Who does a guy gotta get ahold of to by sone day olds or hatching eggs of the colored egg laying naked necks? Found a place on the net called Les Farms but they are in Canada. Any breeders in U.S?

I was working on a green/blue egg laying NN, but things were going bad for me for a whole and sold them a off, but I wound up Missi g one that lays tge green egg.
In the next couple of days I will be adding a Araucana rooster to one run of NN hens to make a few more.

Seeing as how I do not have a NN cockerel, and I breed Ameraucanas, breeding NN Easter Eggers is high on my list! I think they would be cute, and great layers on top of it.

Mine were all friendly chickens. I still have some of the crossed pullets but they all lay brown eggs except the one. They have begun to lay almost every day. I probably will hatch babies from this group this coming September.
I used the Easter Eggers myself in the cross.
