Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Glad to Help out.

I've been wanting to for awhile now. So one day sitting around with so many eggs and not knowing what else to do with them I decided I'd pop about 39 of them suckers in the incubator. Three weeks later these things popped out.
FYI - Those two girls of mine that you wanted me to cross with that mottled boy of yours with are just now starting to lay. I figure if I give them a little more time, then pen them up with him and a couple of my transylvania girls for awhile, I should have hatching eggs for you around xmas time. He's getting alot more spots on him, kinda looks like a starry sky against a big red nebula or something. Pretty cool.

I've got this little cockerel from those K&M Farms birds that hatched on the eclipse. He looks alot like an Aloha, really cool looking so far. But he's gonna be looking for a home. If you weren't so far away I would just bring both of them to you. Your guy thinks he's ready, and it's kinda funny to watch. If he can get ahold of a hen he just stands on her back and holds onto their neck but never seals the deal. He gets to third base but just can't get the "home run" figured out, and the hens just all annoyed like "are you done yet??"

Here is the one like yours that I hatched from draye. Pretty girl.

And draye, this girl laid her first egg today. I thought for sure I would be getting a blue green egg from her because her legs are green. Guess that doesn't always mean green eggs. Pretty color though. She is a very unique color. The photos don't show it at all. Can't really call her a buff. The best I can do to explain the color is to say it's like a cinnamon coloring. Very pretty. And a very sweet girl!

The top photo is one of her more recently. The bottom photo is one of her last month and the white one is one of yours also. She's white with blue on the the tip of her tail.

I have one alot like that except her breast is lighter. She's the one that started out with white feather tips when you brought them over and you thought she might be an aloha, but she feathered out like that instead... with some very pale lavender in her tail and underfluff. Very pretty. I think she's laying too.

Here's the rest of the K&M birds. That white one I thought was going to be a cockerel is turning out a pullet. So I've got one white, one red, and one black pullet. And one spotted, one wild type, and one black cockerel. The red pullet is getting a bit inquisitive. I'm really liking these birds so far and will probably order from K&M again in the future.
