Hi! She's a blue, just a peculiar shade of blue (for here). Yes, Silkie in the mix is the reason for the dark skin popping out ---I really like dark-skin birds so I'm happy about that. Another of my girls from the NNFGE pen laid her first egg today and it was a regular-sized egg and a lovely tealy-blue. I don't have a pic, but she's a smooth dark-skinned splash. MMMMMmmmmmm.

BTW Lisa - I have that same nakedness problem at times with her - we call her chemo chicken right now.
