Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Hello! I'm new here but I have had chickens for a few years. I got my first Naked Neck rooster by trading a really mean Black Jersey Giant for him and he is so sweet and funny looking that I ordered 10 hens to go with him. I got them today! I got 8 that look like they will be red, 1 white and 1 black. I have a question, since my rooster is white with faint red barring in his tail what color babies do you think I will get from him and his new hens?
 
Description of rooster sounds unusual... would like to see pictures before I can guess as to what you'd get out him and the girls. btw congrats on your introduction to the NN world.

homeschoolchick, he really is a cutie! I like his short squat body type and friendly face. I just picked up a pullet that has that same look. How old is he now?

DDD's birds are all so different! I have three, completely different in color, body type, face..but one thing they all have in common is they're super sweet.

Thank you :) He is five weeks now! Since he is my only NN/Turken, I cant wait to breed him. But, I only have cochins his age to breed him to. Which is fine I guess.

You got a pullet like him...wish I had one like him.

I have some shizzles and showgirls in the incubator. I got them because they came from the breeder that was selling the barred cochin eggs I wanted. I figured since they were extras...why not...more NNs, just not as close to my one turken as the original turkens. They will all be bred to the cochins, soooo why not??

Maybe on my next incubation I can get more NN eggs from the breeder where I got Camo (cutie in the picture) from :)
 
I find it very difficult to determine color of pale chicks. I would guess that most appear lavender to me. And that is only seeing the birds face to face. Everyone sees colors in thire own unique way. Factor in the monitor screens and that makes opinion ever more of a guessing game. I think that little guy just looks so sweet and I want him.

I love roosters so much! I wish I could have a lot and not have to worry about them fighting.
