Naked Neck/Turken Thread

This may be a stupid question, but how do you/look for to get a show turken? I never showed my turkens but I have the young red turken roo 7 months old that I think is so pretty and he has a great proportional body and physique. I'll try to get a pic soon. Only downside is his tail is just growing in, he's kinda a late bloomer with his tail. I only want to show him in a local fair not like a national show lol..
Show that boy ! A local show or fair should be easy and fun and you get to meet people and ask questions.

Lisa I empathize with you in regards to your blind hen. When every "one" is heathy we don't have areason to worry and forget how fragile life is.

KKH What a surprize to have all those lovely babies. I would love to see Emily with them ! I think that it is funny that your recognize girlie faces in chicks. I just see cute. How acurate are your guesses. BTW Victor is finally being manly so I may try hatching some of the bantam eggs if a broody doesn't develop.

Dinamoe real cutie there. Congratulations !

Kev thanks so much for all the genetic information. Most of what I have learned is from your post and on a few occasions from a few other people.

 It's pure wishful thinking!

The Fm NN girl passed --- I'm not sure what else was wrong with her or what caused her to go blind. She was older, but not ancient. She never acted like she was in pain, just confused and upset because she couldn't see. I kind of wish now I had seperated her before she went completely blind, she might have... No point second-guessing now.
