NewToFarming, what kind of roo is that? What a stunning bird!! I really wish all roosters would get along. I'd have a hundred of them. They are so beautiful!

Thanks! That is Squiggy the bantam salmon favorelle. They are a gorgeous breed. I just love them and are very gentle roosters and they love to be held but bantams are hard to find. His brother Lenny is the one that had chicks with my turken girl that I am really hoping to get close to the Fav feathering. The hens look totally different. I know what you mean about the roosters. I have way too many roosters now but I just love the boys but yes, if only they wouldn't fight. I could never do a bachelor pen because it always ended up with one being beaten up too badly.

LOL Yes, I did! I had gotten 4 chicks, 2 girls and 2 boys. I named them Laverne, Shirley, Lenny & Squiggy and believe me Squiggy was named correctly. He had one long curly tail feather that he just recently lost and it took him forever to learn how to mate correctly. Poor Shirley would just look at him when he was sideways or backwards like she was saying, "You just ain't right, dude" LOL

Thanks! Gave her peafowl eggs to sit on and hatch. Like doing this as peachicks sometimes can be a bit of work to raise...
