Do you have any current pictures of your's to share now? This is your thread that is still going.

Yes I do! This forum has been going for quite a while! :)
Sorry for the late reply.

I just sold 2 of my Bow Tie Naked necks that did make the cut for any breeding program. So far one is laying and made the cut. She is being bred to a full naked neck now (half Red Ranger to improve meat quality) and eggs are being collected now for an incubator that will be set next week.

I caught a video on my trail cam of my Flock Rooster. He was supposed to be a table bird but his temperament was good I kept him as a pet. He developed the slowest and was the smallest for his age so he might not be the best the breeder. However he does have the nicest looking color/pattern. You can see one of his younger brothers in the video too.

he is a breeder. the only fault he has is that he developed slow.

hen should be big and lay big eggs and roo should have nice colour.

I will consider breeding him down the line when I breed for a nice pattern or color. Currently right now I am breeding naked necks for meat consumption. While I am aiming for a particular color (white) Rapid development is my top concern and next is breast size. The picture in my avatar happens to be his brother from the same hatch. He reached the target weight 2 weeks sooner. All the sisters were kept to breed back to the full naked neck father. Thats when I will start making serious culling decisions. I eventually want to start up my own line of Naked Neck broilers... not for a business as much as I just want my own sustainable flock of meat birds. However if I end up making something special that ends up being in demand I will sell them to someone with more ambition. My business is plants, its far more profitable than chickens, I just have chickens to make compost and eat healthier.

If you run out of room in your incubator, I still have some room in mine! ;)
