You can eat any chicken the question is if you feel a smaller bird is worth the effort. As far as age.. I guess that depends on the breed. I haven't put much thought into when to dress out a bantam. I guess at the same time you would large fowl. I was tempted to dress out one of my seramas because I figured it being so small it wouldn't be as much effort to do it and I might get half a chicken nugget out of him.

I’ve decided to keep this guy.
I just love my Turkens!
He looks almost identical to his dad, Angus except he is NN and dad was Nn.
He’s huge!
At 3 months old he’s taller than my adult hens and right now he’s all legs lol.

I have been told that bantam chickens just have less meat, that's all. I guess you should weigh them to decide when to butcher.

@BlueBaby , Thanks, went out to check on everyone, they were hiding in the coop..lol, will take them a little bit to figure out they are allow out with everyone else, I've had the same issue with everyone, my first hatch was almost laying before they figured it out. I expect before this time next week, they will be rushing the fence with everyone else when I walk up.

Its my fault for reviving it, I only had one Naked Neck when it got started and when he had a bunch of offspring worthy of pictures I kinda got carried away.
