Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today—2026

They calling for snow or ice for you?
Both. I woke up to 18F, it snowed.a few inches. Snow switched to sleet around 4. They say it will change over to freezing rain and then get colder again, not melting until mid week. So, that's fun.

They've already announced school closures for Monday & Tuesday. BUT, it looks like they have reduced the ice accumulation from 1/2-3/4" down to 1/4-1/2". Hoping we don't lose power here.

Checked on the Donkeys & Chickens, all seem to be happy even though we're having on and off showers. The Barn Cats/Kittens snuggled up in the hay barn. (4 cats, 5 kittens & 2 storm transients)

Put up another shelf in the laundry room.

Repotted/split some of my African Violets.

It was -17⁰F this morning.
Same.

Today I cleaned and defrosted the chest freezer. Great day for it: Pile all the food in totes and put it outside where it couldn't even contemplate thawing.

I washed a couple dog blankets.

I baked a loaf of zucchini bread. Then dropped the pan on the floor after it had cooled. (Trying to get it out of hubby's way.) The loaf broke, but the pan did NOT! So I have zucchini "spoonbread." Scoop some in a bowl, and eat with a spoon.

Still sounds good!

I erased another 848 pictures; still have 10,000.
I took the dogs for a walk despite the 14F temperature.
I went to church. Both pews and choir were packed, decided choir was lesser of the two evils. Spent mass squeezed in between two rotund older geezers. Good thing I’m thin!

Smart!

Need to do that. Sadly, I have my grandpuppy living here, currently. We have had to remove most rugs, all toys and all nylabones. She could probably chew through a rock!

Oh! I hate when that happens!
