I got to sleep in because I didn't have school, it was wonderful.
Went for a run.
I dug up some of the nasty grass in the garden.

I will worry about my Eva. She is having neurological issues, can't walk.

Good to know! I'd just wonder about the cream cheese frosting. I do freeze most of our baked goods, but they aren't frosted.

I finally got around to trying it, and it's a tad disappointing. Drier than it should be because I used pregrated carrots (I didn't have good time or energy to do it myself) and a gluten free flour that was a bit more drying than usual. I also cut the sugar, imagining the amount to be quite a bit sweeter than necessary. Ah well, it's alright! It's more like a bread, I just wish the carrot came through better. It's somewhat lacking on flavor. The cream cheese frosting adds some sweetness, but I think it almost detracts from the "bread" itself. It was still a fun thing to do!



Meanwhile, I played fetch with the dog, but didn't fold my laundry.

Neighbor came by and picked the tomatoes. Supposed to freeze this weekend.

She went home with tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers and a pumpkin.

I dug up a bunch of potatoes, all from volunteer plants.
I did a load of laundry.
I brewed a new batch of booch.
I am having popcorn for dinner!
