I need to make sure that I emptied anything that have water in it as such prolong wet weather created a lot of mosquitos and there were reported a few death from mosquito borne disease like Japanese encephalitis.

I got 3 x 20kg bags of chicken feeds so I must check that they have not grown moldy. Then check all my chickens for lice/mites and bumble feet as they have been walking in mud for so long.

Balance is the key, excessive of anything is bad.

Sand dune....it must be very dry so it is opposite of what we are having here.. excessive rain and your side is super dry?

I can not imagine what it like to be so dry weather. We used to have dry heat in summer, but definitely nothing compare to your weather there.....Sand dune.

I google it and it looks pretty dry land.

I spring cleaned.
I scolded the missing chicken. She is back in the coop. Apparently she was trying to brood somewhere!
I will continue putting away objects that I unearthed while cleaning.

Yesterday:
Got up early and drove 2 hours to watch grandson play baseball.
Had a picnic between games.
Stopped at Vincentown diner on the way home and had 'breakfast' for supper.

I am thinking about this sand dune in your garden.

Mostly soil in my chicken runs and I put out load of sugar cane mulch and trimming of my mango trees, load of that. It was a continuous prolong rain so non of that mulch matter at all.

Clay is mostly under those top soil, so it does not drain well at all. We have a few dry or most a week of sunshine, then come the prolong rain and this has been a repeated thing since late last year, whatever goodness in the clay or soil in my garden, non is left now.

Will the muddiness reduce by adding sand?

Look like another sunshine today and I am hoping for stronger wind.
I might mow the lawn late this afternoon, long grass will cause impact crop when my chickens eat their fill. Then the flowering of the long grass causes allergy for me.

So today I will be continue with cleaning my garden...
Mow the lawn
More trimming of the lower undergrowth so that it is air out and not harbor whatever might cause my dogs and chickens harm.
Eating, lucky no cooking as I still have left over lasagna.
