Picked the asparagus hiding in the grass.

Steamed 3 minutes, butter, salt and pepper.

Went to town and made a deposit for the beagle club. Discovered that the bank has moved.
Went to TSC and bought feed and two packs of Chuckles.
Went to beagle club and filled feeders. Checked vernal pools. They are now filled with water, and Wood frog tadpoles are thriving.

Spent most of the morning cleaning & removing nails from some of the used lumber we bought at the farm equipment auction.

Had lunch, fried egg, ham and cheese sandwich, decided to quit for the day.

Watched TV and crocheted.

Brewed a new batch of tea for kombucha
Buried 3 rotting logs in the garden (enrich the soil and act as water storage)
Did a load of laundry and dried it on the line.

I went to church.
I went to the store.
I made a video.

I rode my bike.
I tried to fix one of my websites.
I sat around on BYC.

I planted radishes, beets, a mixture of lettuce and spinach and carrots.

Today...

1st thing:
Plant my comfy plants down to the edge of the garden. I had them in pots during the spring and summer season as they do not do well in the harsh sun.

2nd thing:
Wanting to...fighting NOT to...wanting to get a Belgium D'Uccle rooster. I am at the edge of getting this rooster, the only information now is how loud does it crow compare to the standard size rooster and how big does it grows into once it reached full grown?
I only want a bantam as big as my Pekin chicken, and I can not have it crows so loud.

3rd thing:
Visit a friend

My porcelain D'uccle was not as loud as a standard, but he was shrill ... which is a whole different kind of "noisy!"

Fed and watered the chicks, chickens and ducklings. Managed to get the Mama dog and puppies fed. Still need to get the water bowls filled and then water the garden. I also need to get the flowers planted.

Aww, NOW you've done it ... The Dawg is gonna want pictures!

I have no children so I don't know what it likes to be parents. But I know it is very hard to care for elderly family members....very hard.

You have "children!" They just don't have fingers & toes like your mother's children do!
