Today I made an upside down pineapple cake for my sister's birthday party that I will be going to soon. I also ran to the dollar store to buy her some gag gifts

Today we cleaned out our chimney. It wasn't as dirty as I expected it would be, and it was light, fluffy stuff. I was afraid it would be the tarry sticky stuff full of creosote.

That is a load off both our minds. We're ready for another season of fires in the woodstove.

We always have to wait until it's colder outside. It drafts down and gets stinky in our house. We do need to order wood soon

I will decorate the house for fall.
I will clean the chicken coop.
I will rehome Dandelion this afternoon and continue on with the 3.

Worked on the garden at the rental - want it nice for the new tenants.
Did some washing and some dishes, and weeded some of the jungle that is my back yard.
Sorted some more of the stuff that has accumulated over the years, and mostly just restored it - a little made the burn pile.
