I pulled weeds and selfsown plants I did not want.
I went and made sure my mum was having a reasonable day and helped give her budgies grass and move those that needed moving.
I did the washing.

Today's main project will be cutting some dead trees down. Hubby does the cutting, I stand around, ready to call 911 if he gets hurt. Then I haul the pieces to the trailer.
I need to take the garbage out.
I will put the dehydrated apples into storage jars.

I should've gone outside and worked on something. It was a beautiful day, 77° with a light breeze. I guess I'm just tired.
Watched reruns of rerun movies on TV.
Fell asleep in my recliner.
Worked on the Overlay Mosaic afghan.

Some days ya just gotta kick back.

Milling up an entrance reducer for the Split I made in spring
Putting labels on the remaining filled honey jars.

Make a English muffin with egg, cheese and sausage patty. Unload a half cord of firewood from my trailer. Clear my trail out to my deer hunting area, Raspberries' vines sure grew well this summer.

1. Try to bring my Amazon packages inside before the thieves steal them.
2. Make coffee with chicory.
3. Clean up the back porch.

Edit: 5/5, got all of our packages!

The first one was delivered just before sunrise. Usually they put them right outside our kitchen (side) door and I just open the door and bring the box inside.

I opened the door but there was no package. That often means the driver has left it in front of the house (contrary to our instructions). Thieves follow the delivery trucks around the neighborhood and steal packages immediately after they're left so you have to act fast and bring them inside before that happens.

I figured I'd just duck around the corner to the front of the house and get the box. It's there, and it's HUGE, so I bend over rather ungracefully and struggle to pick this huge thing up and get it around the corner to the side door (front door is locked).

I set it down before opening the door and suddenly realize the delivery driver is still in our driveway. It's 6AM and I'm in my nightgown. We almost never use robes here (too hot). It's a full coverage regular ol' cotton nightgown so there wasn't anything indecent about it but I don't generally traipse around outside like that!

I gave an awkward wave to the delivery driver, who waved back and promptly left.
