[Grannys Backyard Chicks]

Coffee with hubby before he went to work.
Fed and watered chickens,rabbits and dogs.
Sat on the porch and listening to the birds.

Went for a run.
Took some photos of my least scruffy chickens.
Will make a cake for my mom.
Will go out to dinner.

Waited for the generator maintenance guy.
Went to town: garden market, TSC and gas station
Picked tomatoes to give away.

Will: go to the club after supper and work one dog.

Removed the chokecherries from the wine bucket. Tastes good to me. Currently at 10% alcohol.

Got up again after getting up and going back to bed. I'm feeling much better; I guess it was cold-vid.

Took the 9o'Flock to my tomato patch and let them tend it. A big step! First forage around the yard. My Coonhound Nadine helped me keep guard.

Hopefully taught the little pullets to follow me back to the coop as I shake the Flock Party Tasty Trio worms bag.

*the tall tree in the patch is a Dawn Redwood (metasequoia). This time last year it was a foot tall.
