Today I will:
Hope that big stray dog doesn’t come around again…super nice chocolate lab, the neighbors think he was dumped. He’s huge and has bad manners, just slobbers all over you.
Probably pull weeds in the garden.
Do the rest of the things I’ve been putting off for days…
Work on my knitting that’s still not done.

We have a huge yellow lab that wanders around sometimes. The first time I saw him, our dog went crazy but I was able to grab the lab's collar and look for a phone number. This damn dog had two collars and three different ID tags. He had two different names on the tags and three different phone numbers. The first number, a guy answered and had no idea what we were talking about, he had no dog. The other two numbers were disconnected. I tried calling animal control and no one answered there. This dog is huge, fat and has no manners. Does not listen to basic commands and has no idea what his name is. I've started calling him "Obtuse". So whenever he wanders over, we just say that Obtuse is back. He can't get to my chickens so I don't even try to shoo him away. He wanders off after a few mins
 
I had coffee gathered the eggs and checked the mail. Had to take a copy of the paperwork for my husband bc he's not going to take the load all the way up to Washington State. Turned the water on for the chickens. Have to send in the load my husband just delivered and after that I think it's nap time.

That sounds like a good name for this dummy. He did come back and was terrorizing the chickens. They went completely bonkers and were flying around, and he just sat there and watched them with his tongue hanging out. 🙄 We tried calling neighbors, animal control, shelters…no one can take him. We don’t have a fenced yard, so it’s not like we can hold him for his nonexistent owner. According to some people, he’s been wandering around here for over a week, and somehow he’s still fat. Someone is missing a rooster though, so I wonder if he had a chicken dinner. Currently he’s sacked out in the iris bed, and doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere. My dad might actually shoot him if he’s still here…
 
Harvested my chamomile and lemon balm, plan on making tea. I need to make the sauerkraut that I never got to yesterday. And maybe go through my dresser drawers and clean them out. Depends on how sassy I'm feeling, and how nice it gets outside. Might just sit outside and read
