Finished up the roost upgrade in my very first pen/coop.

The other pen i worked on today is the extension for another pen. I got i moved over and there are gaps between the ground and base of the pen. Only got four loads of sand done for it. Will complete that tomorrow.

Chickens fed, watered and locked up for the night after I retrieved eggs.

Make the stuffing
Make the cranberry sauce
Do the laundry I didn't do yesterday. Critical! I'm out of clean socks!

Made scrambled eggs w/spinach and some maple sausage nuggets.

Playing some WoW while doing laundry.

May or may not work on pens. My hands and arms are sore from yesterdays work. Will pick up trash from the backyard. Trash aka feed bags, unused waters and feeders and scraps from building. Feeders and waters will be washed out and put away.

Today I went into work to decorate for Christmas. We like it to be done when the kids come back from Thanksgiving break. I'm doing laundry, have made gluten free french fried onions. Will make butter later. And have to winterize the coop, put the plexiglass windows in and plug in the heated water buckets. It's gonna get pretty cold here soon

I enjoyed our first hard frost this morning!

I will probably clean a bunch more stuff to prepare for our guests tomorrow…

Today I will see my chiropractor for adjustment, my back is feeling strange. I better do it before it gets worse.
Continue with my unclutter of the house....
Chicken tasks - separate the broody hen from the flock, she is making everyone goes broody. Get ready for more rain in the next few days. I run out of room to house the broody hen, the 2 single pullets and rain is causing more pain for me.

I set up the long enclosure and put a trio of button quail in it.

Including the hamster wheel turned dirt bath. The green top is to keep the kitty out. Adult buttons aren’t supposed to be in fish tank type set ups so this is just until I get chicks to raise in there. I’m sure they’re enjoying the extra space though, it is 5 feet 5 inches long, 17 in wide and 15 tall.

I will shave my husband’s hair.

I will do homework with my son after he and his dad home from swimming. And after dinner. One time my son went swimming after dinner, barfed in the pool so everyone evacuated from it.
