I am canning tomatoes all day.

Jealous. My tomatoes are still green except for a handful of grape tomatoes

Today I worked out, will weed my flower bed, and figure something else out. Probably more weeding or mowing the grass

We didn’t have a garden this year. Too busy working on the new coop to put in a garden. I went to the mennonites and got these.
Not a bad price either - $14 for a box of tomatoes.

Picked cherries, pitted cherries, made cherry jam. Froze cherries to make pies with later.

Neighbor came and picked cherries for hours. She did not get her tree fully picked.

I moved 4 pullets into the holding pen in our covered run getting ready to integrate them with our flock. (Yay chickens are out of my shop!) Did some spot repairs on the drywall in our new pantry. Sprayed neem on our beans. We ate our first ripe tomato! Yay!!

Worked 3 dogs and filled bird feeders at the club.
Mowed the top part of the front lawn. It's only been a couple of days, but the crabgrass grows 1.5" a day this time of year.
Cleared weeds/grass from two stumps in the front yard.
Will remove a dying butterfly bush and deer damaged Euonymous.

Fed the chickens, checked out the new donkey foal. Mother won't me near her. I think it's a girl. She's jet black from head to toe.

Sat in the shade with Hubby and watched the tree removal company take down the Oak in the front of the house. They brought in a crane since the Oak was 58 feet high.

We had some huge oaks that were close to the house taken out about 5 years ago. Very similar set up. Fascinating to watch! The crew foreman said when they're working in a city neighborhood, they get an audience.
