Yesterday got hit in the head by a 2x4 that I putting up in the coop. Today my husband did the chickens and cooking. So this is what I did....

I had positioned short piece of 2x4 near the roof where I wanted it. I bent down to get the screw-gun and screws and the wind blew the 2x4. It hit me right over my left eye. Boy did it hurt!

I walked into a opened vent on a chicken coop once. Hard. Bam. There goes blood everywhere, and it hurt really bad for a week.

Watch for a concussion. Those are not fun. If you seem to take longer than normal to process things mentally, that's a concussion(among other symptoms) Resting your brain is best
