!

I think the question was what her splash was made from, the silver female and white males.

OOOH i just saw this now. LOL! I have no clue. I'm not good on knowing what crosses will produce what. They are so random (most are) that it's hard to tell. Double factors are the only ones I KNOW produce themselves lol other than that it's a guess for me.

citalk2much~~ I sent your eggs today! I'll get yours out on Monday Cindy. I had to go to town and pick up a package anyway, and didn't want to leave them just sitting here getting older!

Hi all!! Niki - good to know you're still here

No takers on my eggs??? Buttons and/or jumbo coturnix eggs - take your pick. I really DO have them coming out of my ears. Canning/pickling well over 100 more tomorrow!!!

I tried your recipe, and I think I have a few more days to let them sit until I try them. I had to improvise a little, but didn't stray too far.

I'm really hoping someone will have gambels or Georgia Giants up for trade sometime soon.

I will soon have Pharoha eggs for offer, I have to do a test hatch first. ( young birds)

I have to wait for the ground to un ice before setting them back out in their pens: then I can off up:
Reeves pheasant:
RingsNecks:
and hopefully red goldens.
.
In the bator are A&M's and jumbos, a few more days to hatch them out.

when the ring necks are laying and fetile again and I offer them up please check with your local game and wildlife for needed permits etc before offering a swap.
generally reeves and goldens do not need permits but please check first. thanks.

I have 6 coturnix eggs now. My quail just started laying about a week ago. I cracked one last night and could not tell if there was a bulls eye or not. Maybe I'll do better to set these and test hatch them first so I don't screw anyone over on the trade.

this is why I test hatch before offering.
I have only partial vision in my right eye and focasing in on a chicken bullseye is hard for me, quail eyes I can't even see.
better for me to hatch first offer later

Good plan. I'll do that. I just got quail trays for my 1588.
