I candled and set my eggs tonight. 2 were cracked, and I broke one other in the process

I have 74 empty spaces in my bator, and over 120 eggs coming to me!!

Can anyone say oops?

how are you guys packing your eggs using quail egg cartons or foam?

Most eggs I have gotten have been in quail egg cartons or flats for larger quantities. I have sent mine wrapped in bubble wrap, since I don't have too many cartons yet. I need to order some!

I got some cartons from my last ebay order of eggs and used them to hatch this last brood and they worked out well. I don't want to use them to ship with until I get more made less mess.

I so want to join in on the fun. But other than the buttons and coturnix, most of the other breeds don't start laying until Mar/April.

I'm supposed to start getting chukar eggs then, and hopefully pheasant eggs, too.

I hear that I had two sets of my buttons go broody and are sitting there eggs someone forgot to tell them I just hatched 15 babies LOL. That's okay I think the ones raised by there mom will be more likely to be good at sitting there own eggs
So with the orders I have to fill I am down for a couple weeks
