Hello everyone! I have this hen I've genuinely grown quite a shift spot for over the past few months, and I'm in need of a good name for her. I have a gut feeling she'll be an important bird for my projects and she's always had a low rank in all 4 flocks she's been in. She never fights, never does an over the top egg song, never gets bossy on the roost bar, and always behaves like a bird who just happy to be around. In all honesty idk how to describe her personality but it's completely different from the countless other birds I've raised. She looks almost... Sad. Like she's kinda depressed almost. I don't think she actually is, but she just acts kinda... Sad. I feel like she has the eyes of a mournful soul that's seen a thousand lives.
Idk if what I'm saying makes sense, but this bird feels different than all my other birds I've had. Like I just wanna hold this lil bird and give her hugs... She'd proooobably not like that though lol.
She's always happy to eat out my hand so long as nobody else is going to bully her off. She also lays speckled green eggs! She's a bit fearful of humans who get to close but she's very very curious of humans when she thanks their not looking. She's like a cat in a lot of ways!
Anyways, I'll quit yapping and just ask y'all what ya think I should name her. It's quite obvious she's a special hen to me so she need somethin' meaningful.
She's also a mom too!!! I hatched 12 of her eggs not too long ago and they're all doing great. I'll will need names later on as I decide who stays with their mom and who goes off to new homes!
