Here's some names that I've named my EEs: Tanse, Cave, Stripy-Splash, Marvalo, Copper-Amber, Neisha, and Lupine.

Do you ever name after fictional characters?

Fictional characters from books, TV and movies, along with my attempts at names that reflect their heritage (French names for Faverolles, for example). Only one is named for physical features -- one of my first hens, a Buff Orp named Honey. Of course, I call all my chickens honey at one time or another, so it would likely confuse her -- if she cared what I named her!

She seems to think her name is "Grapes," since that's her favorite treat.
