aww, yeah we put her out with the other birds for the first time today, and sadly she still hasn't made any friends but hopefully, she will, I hope she's happy. And, I still think Greta is lucky to have you! She's lovely!
Hope she enjoyed being outdoors. My house chicken, Dottie, went out for a field trip today and decided she didn't want to come indoors. Good thing I took out her favorite treat -- a green grape -- to lure her back
well she has 2 choices the guineas or the ducks and chickensMaking friends isn't always any easier for chickens than it is for the rest of us.
When my Honey was the only survivor of a predator attack in her coop, it took her quite a while to decide who she wanted to hang out with. My first choice of coops certainly wasn't hers; she didn't care for any of the girls in it.
Later, I watched her spending time with three hens from another coop, and today, they are a happy foursome.
I think Greta will find her own flock and her own happiness.
hasnt yet but shes getting thereShe'll find her flock!
