And, I still think Greta is lucky to have you! She's lovely!

Hope she enjoyed being outdoors. My house chicken, Dottie, went out for a field trip today and decided she didn't want to come indoors. Good thing I took out her favorite treat -- a green grape -- to lure her back.

aww, yeah we put her out with the other birds for the first time today, and sadly she still hasn't made any friends but hopefully, she will, I hope she's happy.
 
Making friends isn't always any easier for chickens than it is for the rest of us.

When my Honey was the only survivor of a predator attack in her coop, it took her quite a while to decide who she wanted to hang out with. My first choice of coops certainly wasn't hers; she didn't care for any of the girls in it.

Later, I watched her spending time with three hens from another coop, and today, they are a happy foursome.

I think Greta will find her own flock and her own happiness.
