Australorp mix. She lays blue eggs anyone have any ideas?

Point of information:
EE and Ameraucana are the same.

EE are mutts, Ameraucana are purebred.

EE can carry any combination of egg color genes, but usually carry at least one blue copy.

An EE bred to anything else can produce hens who lay just about any color.
And EE hen who lays green bred to a white egg layer rooster can produce hen who lay either brown or blue eggs.
A EE hen bred to a brown egg layer of a pure breed should produce hens who lay brown or green.
An EE bred to a brown egg layer can produce hens who lay brown or blue IF the stag she was bred to carries one copy of white and one copy of brown for shell color.

That is how an EE bred to other things can throw BOTH green and blue layers.
Ameraucanas cannot do that.

She is a EE
They can lay several different colors. From blue to yellow. There is no telling what mix she is unless you know the parentage. She almost looks like a lesser prairie chicken though pretty neat

BELOW are the other birds discussed.

Derived from a blue egg gene--- may be recognized by the American Poultry association, but not necessarily pure.
